Internal vs. External Marketing
Internal marketing is selling more of your product or services to people already in your office. External marketing is finding more people to enter your office/store/website/practice so you can sell something to them. Internal is the least expensive, but requires staff training and discipline. External requires a large capital investment (usually ongoing) and in a perfect world has them arriving at your door ready to buy. Developing the blend – and budgeting properly - is key.
